From our custom 6061-T6 extrusion, Outerwild's premium line of free float handguards are machined in-house at our parent company, Outerwild. Unlike many manufacturers who simply cut holes and slots in their extrusion, we machine every surface of the exterior to ensure a uniform and flat surface. Our 4140 steel barrel nut does not need to be indexed for gas tube clearance, and easily installs with a standard castle nut wrench.

Excellent and Easy to Install
Just picked this up on whim and couldn’t be more pleased. Why pay more? This is machined very nicely and is almost weightless. Barrel nut was a breeze to install with a castle nut wrench and went on without any issues. Very happy with this purchase and will order from here for any future needs!
