Outerwild's in-house machined AR15 billet upper receivers are the perfect complement to our billet lowers. Machined from a solid brick of 7075-T6 aluminum, hand deburred, tumbled and hard coat anodized. Accepts all Mil-Spec components and fits all Mil-Spec dimensions lower receivers. We ensure that every upper is well within spec and will function perfectly for your build.

The quality, fit, and finish is great on these uppers! I was so pumped to get this for a demo for our brand of rifle we manufacture. Unfortunately, the upper is designed to only accept flat handguards and WILL NOT accept several handguards (including ours) that have any anti-rotation bosses or notches that would align with the upper receiver. The issue is literally just a small amount of material where the dust cover rod seats into toward the front of the receiver; that prevents these anti-rotation rail bosses JUST ON THAT SIDE from going all the way back on the upper receiver. I can't comment on confirming a lot of rails, but for sure they will not receive Rip Cord Industries LDR or a Geissle Mk4 series. Kind of a bummer...I have reached out to sales on this in hopes that someone might of been working on this, or that they might be able to make a quick change to aid in their ability to push these out to those higher-end rail users! I love the other parts though! You guys have great stuff!

Tight fit, had to wear the takedown holes a few times until I could do it by hand. Finish matches nicely to my DMSlayer lower.

Well Machined!!
So I got this in and was gonna place it on another brand billet upper. When I saw it I changed my mind. The machining on this great and the finish impeccable. I couldn't do it. I couldn't place this on another Lower receiver. it would be like a putting peanut butter on celery! Cant wait for the Lowers to be back in stock so I can do a build and review the receiver. Worried i may rebuild every AR i own.
