From our custom 6061-T6 extrusion, Outerwild’s premium line of handguards are machined in-house at our parent company, Outerwild. Unlike many manufacturers who simply cut holes and slots in their extrusion, we machine every surface of the exterior to ensure a uniform and flat surface. Our 4140 steel barrel nut does not need to be indexed for gas tube clearance, and easily installs with a standard castle nut wrench.

Note: This handguard is designed to fit a DPMS style forged upper and our Outerwild brand of upper receivers. Fitment to any other brand may require hand filing of the anti-rotation tabs.

Good Fit
I liked the fit other than I did have to make a modification to get the anti rotation tabs to fit on an Aero upper. It was just a bit of filing on the lower ends of the tabs at a 45 degree angle and then she slipped right on. The rail on top lined up like a champ!

Fits Well, Nice and Tight!
This handguard fits well and was nice and tight. The anti-rotation tabs also ensured proper top rail alignment with the upper receiver.

AR10 Handguard 15" M-lock
I have NEVER installed an easier hand guard on an AR10! This super low profile and LOWEST profile barrel nut I have ever seen made my latest project a snap!!!! The gas tube and barrel nut have zero interference issues! The fact that I can actually just worry about torquing my barrel nut to where it should be and NOT have to worry about gas tube alignment made it crazy easy to do! I actually watched a YouTube video of a guy using this product on his build and I wanted to find the same item- my search led to here! The actual manufacturer! They were so easy to deal with! I actually placed my order through Facebook, messenger! LOVE these guys! You too will love their products! They are made to high quality standards! I'm a skeptic of all products, but they proved me very wrong! GREAT PRODUCTS!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! If anyone wants or needs to see pix of the hand guard installed, I'd be very happy to post or send!
